In the case of Golden Axe the Genesis version had an extra level, a different ending and a survival mode added on. But yes, the arcade version looked better.

Yes, but Sega is selling the genesis roms, not the arcade ones. They're got a ton of roms on steam and other services and as far as I know, they're all genesis.

Why they would choose to sell an inferior rom (when the arcade versions looked better) is beyond me, and something I've griped about before.
