The best description I saw of it called it "D. Souls for normal people".
It starts out very challenging but doesn't have PVP and doesn't punish you for dying. |

Dragon's Dogma... totally devoured my weekend. Had planned to play some more Diablo 3, and I made the mistake of starting Dragon's Dogma on Friday night. Totally sucked in by it, great game. Fucking eh, I just killed Ur Dragon and am just mopping things up before "finishing" the game. I've been playing for like 50 hours and enjoying every second of it. Shame NG+ is pretty stupid (the mobs aren't any harder so you are just this stupidly powerful murderer the whole game). Rather than NG+ I'm going to start from scratch on a sorceror. For a lot of the game I was absurdly powerful (started fighter, went warrior, then ended up with assassin). The most fun was definitely the earliest when I had no idea what I was doing and exploring was likely to end in death. |

Was up over 90 on Sunday here, it's 59 degrees right now and back to normal for the rest of the week I think. That's good, I'm not ready for summer yet. |

Random bit of random guys.
Since this is a gaming site and all, there is a huge game sale at http://www.becausewemay.com/ called the "Because We May"... big surprise considering the url...
Long story short, its selling indie games for cheap (or drawing attention to others like the ones on Android). It has games for Android, Steam, Direct (a combo of Windows/Linux/OSX), Other (other online stores, same as Direct though, combo OS's), OSX and iOS. Most of the games are 50% off or more. And for the Android (and I'm guessing iOS), its sales on games on their app store so the can be kept up to date with normal functions (unlike the Humble Bundle that needed an extra app).
And if your more interested in the long story, you can read it as Ars |

Don't blame me... you forced my hand. Well, it's true. That's the one thing that sucks about the northeast...the humidty. Much as I love to a good schvitz in a steam room, nothing like that really dry sauna-type heat. |
