Spike TV is hurtin' lately, ever since people found out that it can't handle mature movies; enough to edit out the best clips of movies like Rambo 4--making the movie pointless to watch.

Lasers charge faster than shields... Full lasers, shields at maintenance. Unless you're dumped into the soup immediately, shunt all laser power to shields, double-forward on the initial approach, keep your lasers just barely at full strength if you're dogfighting until shields are full.
Or if you're *really* ballsy, shields at slow drain/no power, lasers at full power.
One-third throttle to out-turn the SOB, full throttle/match speed when you get them in your sights. Pew pew pew! |

Saw a commercial on spike that said it'll be a brand new game/series taking place in the star wars universe, so odds are any old favourite series is out.
And since Lucasarts only strength these days is to give gamers what they don't want I'm thinking it'll be a Sims clone with JarJar. |

This was my first thought! I hope it's something like Monkey Island where they release the game with updated graphics. I've really got a hankering to play that game again, but I'd really want it to be updated for modern PCs. |
