Diablo III Hotfixes

The Diablo III Website has a list of hotfixes implemented over the past couple of days in Blizzard's MMORPG sequel. There is just one fix listed from yesterday, but there is a longer list of changes from the day before, but these carry a warning saying: "If you have not yet completed Diablo III on Normal, some hotfixes described in this list may include spoilers."

Soul Harvest gets worse the higher level you get. In hell you barely get back the damage you take from getting close to the mobs to use it.

Wake me when they're done nerfing classes like it's an mmo and instead properly balance the difficulty levels, and also make legendary items not suck worse than regular magical ones. Terrible design decisions all around with this game.

The thing is, they made all kinds of changes to D2 over the years. And I'm sure we'll see the same thing here.

The difference is that here, the changes are even being made "server-side", and you have no choice as to whether you take the patches.

At least with the older games, if they made changes you didn't like, you could at least finish your single-player game before updating.

Now users that take longer to finish are going to finish a never-ending stream of tweaks to difficulty and gameplay before they even finish their first run through of the game.

Sucktastic.

Didnt read through since i am only at Act III, but I can see them nerfing Soul Harvest. That ability is insanely powerful. Just go into a group of 5+ and hit it, and for 30 seconds you get a through the roof buff of attack. Can wipe out a group of elites in a matter of seconds.

Also, was it just me, or were the drops awesome yesterday?

I swear they did a ninja loot table adjustment. I've been seeing a lot more rare drops than before, though that could just be entirely due to luck. I don't mind though, my Barbarian had to do some farming just to keep from getting slaughtered in Nightmare.

Yeah. I keep taking this out and putting it into my build constantly. Same with Spirit Walk. I want to try doing something different or playing around with different specs, but Soul Harvest + Pierce the Veil seem to creep into every build I have that doesn't rely purely on pets.

Lots of complaints from peeps that built their chars around Smoke Screen or the Force Armor rune... Game breaking bugs get fixed... More at eleven...

I'm looking forward to trying out Force Armor myself... Looks like a real handy ability... If I don't foret to keep it up... Not a big fan of short term buffs in general, but 2(or 4 with a juicy passive) isn't that horrible, especially with 1-2 other 5m buffs in my build : )

Yeah, it was rough playing my Demon Hunter at first after the hotfixes, but I believe I've settled on a decent build now. Still dying in Hell difficulty, but dying a lot less than I was immediately following the hotfix.

Where the fix to remove the online connection for single player?

Prior to this patch you would get disconnected when removing that gem, are you saying you want to roll back to that disconnect your online connection feature?
