Guess the FCC thing got posted twice, my comment from the other posting:


Sounds like FCC chairman hasn't really looked into what the monopoly ISPs are doing with these "tiers".......which are essentially "pay us more, by either using our other services or upgrading your connection......every time we say so."

Broadband providers shouldn't be able to "not count" their own video streaming services against user data caps just to shut down Netflix. That part of the plan really isn't fair.

The rest of the tiered data plan ideas reek too, come to think of it. Nice to see the FCC chairman being fair and keeping the consumers in mind. *roll eyes*
