Careful.....there are people that will claim all sorts of things, like scaling, bandwidth problems, bla bla bla. Seeing that T2 supports an offline (or even LAN) mode a person can play without worrying about login servers... just like... D1/D2... Quite a concept. |

I can see where you're coming from though. Most of the time, I too go for deep, immersive RPGs with realistic graphics. But some of the time, TL just fits the bill perfectly. I have no idea why. |

deqer wrote on May 18, 2012, 10:58: It's a beautiful moddable DRM-less offline singleplayer/multiplayer/lan actionrpg game made by Runic Games(the true makers of Diablo II) that maintains all the traditional systems of the classic diablo series games--including the music--for 1/3 of the price.
It's different than Diablo 3. - Diablo 3 is online only(lol?), and costs 3x more $ - Diablo 3 is not moddable(lol?) - Diablo 3 requires you setup a global Battle.net account. - Diablo 3 is being leased to you. You don't own it. - Diablo 3 is not forever, because you don't own it. - Diablo 3 does not maintain several traditional systems(for ARPGs). It has no skill or stat points, has a completely different skill system, and multiple other differences from traditional ARPGs. - Diablo 3 is by Blizzard--the future of Game Leasing.(lol?)
Duh?
Oh, hey, only one of those things is anything at all related to gameplay.
"But, but, no one can play Diablo 3 because of ONLINE-ONLY lololol"
But I, and all of my friends playing, haven't had a single issue playing the game.
I'll give TL2 a try, but I wasn't a fan of the first one. Cartoony, childish, graphics. Bland, trite, skills and skill trees. Unimaginative character classes. Hopefully they've fixed some of that for TL2. |

Because myself and many others are not having issues. If you are then you better look at your own system for the solution. I love how when one or even two people have an issue and immediately they assume that it’s Blizzs fault or when someone says they are not having issues, You like the rest of the idiots call out fan boy. Yea, whatever moron!! Got a clue for ya, get a new pc!!!
BTW, when’s the last time you defragged the pc? Do you even know what defragging means? and we are not talking about throwing granades. Wow... DEFRAGGING!
Why didn't Blizzard think of that?. Error 37?. Gone with defragging. Lost connectivity and you have to play the map again?. Gone with defragging!. Long queues to play the game you paid for two days ago?. GONE WITH DEFRAGGING!!!
I really don't understand some of you Blizzard Fanboys. You'll defend them even if Diablo 3 tomorrow formats every fucking computer it's installed on.
Really, if you love the game so much, why aren't you playing right now instead of posting here to answer the "haters"?. I assure you, if InBlack is not playing the game, it isn't because he doesn't want to. It's because the idiots at Blizzard thought a stupid way to make everybody pass in front of the RMAH. |

I sure hope there will be a follow-up to it and we don't have to wait too long. I've never finished it when it was released but recently picked it up again and it really is an awesome game. Hahahaha, you immature Blizzard lovers.
You get all bent out of shape because 1) You got shafted with D3 but refuse to believe it. Blizzard4ever!right? 2) Jealous that TL2 is more real ARPG than Diablo 3. 3) Paid 3x more $ to only lease the game.
But, nooooooooooo, you won't admit it. You won't feel ashamed of yourself. You musn't! right? lol. Instead, you'll act out and do something immature by putting your l33t linux skills in motion and DDOS attacking poor old RunicGames.
Haha, you're just a bunch of fuckers, and you know it.
G'day Watch, Deger
Torchlight 2 is gonna be fantastic, looking forward to a number of things including Uelman's soundtrack because he's a boss. There's room in my life for both games. In my opinion, by picking one game only over the other, you're denying yourself two great experiences and settling for one. But I suppose what makes a great experience varies heavily to people here on this site.
I am loving Diablo 3. I do have a slight stutter with the asset loading issue from time to time, I was able to reduce it by switching sound from 128 channels to 64. I do not really notice it anymore, but it's there. I would not make a hardcore character not because of the stutter, but because of the game's difficulty. Normal had its tough moments, but I am getting assaulted in Nightmare. Game is hard. |
