Read the K link below. EA previously pulled a tetris app, only to release a different one for people to buy (again).
I still have THAT pulled Tetris app. It was not "removed" from my library or never became non-functional. I refuse to buy their new one though, and I am sure the old one will eventually stop working in some iOS update. Which I then will still not buy a new one from EA.
Edit: And I mention this to point out the huge difference here. They pulled one from the store but did not cripple it. Where as this RB situation they are clearly stating it will no longer function. |

Since it's still for sale for $5, I'm tempted to go buy it just so I can bitch and be apart of whatever happens. |

No sight of EA's apologists today? How disappointing.
I think every Bioware employee must just fucking LOVE working for these shitbags at EA.

In which case the store is responsible to give you your previously paid money back.
Sure it's a dick move by EA but essentially the store is responsible what happens on a store and with the products in said store. And fact is Apple allows this, so Apple is responsible.
All it takes is to... be annoying enough for them to consider giving you your money back in the first place ;p |

People will be angry but they'll understand a bit.
I get why companies hide things during the hype phase but I don't get why there isn't transparency into something like this. |

If EA goes through with this, their portable market will die, their downloadable market will die, and they will probably be sued out the ass.
All works for me. |

If you want to do this you need to make games a service. When someone is buying a game you can't just take it away unless there's a necessary service clearly attached.
Mind-boggling. |

EA shutting down Rock Band iOS game - Even if you own it. Just saw this on consumerist. What a load of horseshit. But remember! Folks will tell you EA is A-OK!
