So much that is wrong with this...but two things stand out.
A) Facebook doesn't react to initial complaint..then it hits CNN and all of a sudden the account gets closed. There are a couple of pretty fucked up things you can take away from that.
B) The girl and her parents complain to school AND the police, and yet somehow the other kids parents let it continue. I mean, it seems to me that if that parents weren't aware that their kid were bullying someone initially, they certainly did after the school and police were brought in...right?
Wow. I hope she wins when she gets her day in court as well. Even though I am sure there are facts missing from this article, I can think of no situation that makes the actions of the bullies, or the lack of action by the parents, excusable. |
