Well, it's a sporting weekend, filled with ups and downs for New Yorkers. The Giants seemed to do pretty will in the NFL draft, especially considering they were picking last (I've long ago given up trying to make sense out of what goes on with the Jets). Also, the Rangers won game one of their second round playoff series, which is good considering their close call in the first round. And then there are the Knickerbockers. For a Knicks fan, losing to Miami is about as painful as it can get. I say about, because it turns out losing by a 50% margin (100-67) is actually even worse (though a vast improvement over the 100% margin the game's 62-31 score represented at one point). Oh well, it only counts as one loss. And sympathies to Derrick Rose and Bulls fans, his injury is the last thing an NBA fan would want to have happen. Here's hoping he can eventually make a complete recovery.
