Let's see if this manages to ever get released... something about this makes me worried that it may happen to have the same fate as Project Offset, being bought out and then scrapped. Yeah,, pretty much my concern(s) as well. We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed and wait to see what happens......

I wish them all the luck, and if/when it comes to market, I certainly look forward to playing it.
Definitely agree. I think we need more fresh innovative story driven FPS-puzzle games. Especially ones that look as good as this or better.

An indie producing an engine of this caliber... guess indies are closing on the AAA gap quicker than I thought. I wouldn't say better than UE or CryEngine, but it's on that level.
Really, the next leap forward in terms of what can be done visually within budget constraints is procedural generation and re-use of assets... wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the foliage is procedurally generated (but still is quite nice). |

Purdy, but will hold judgement until release, and then not really care unless the game is also fun : )
The unique game mechanic in Reset is the ability to travel back in time to solve puzzles co-operatively, with yourself. This sounds interesting... Though could end up not all that different than say, Raziel's (Kain series) light/dark puzzle dynamic (which is fine, I liked the game(s)).

Very minimalist, very nice.
Let's see a wider scale of environment before we judge how good the engine looks.
Also the trees are only scaling up (with swaying), not fractally growing as I had first thought. Minor detail though. Watching the city become overgrown was really sweet.
I am looking forward to this. |
