Out of the Blue

We got a good bit of rain yesterday, and there's more forecast for this week. It made for a chilly dreary Sunday, but I got my grilling in on Saturday. More importantly, this should bring some relief to the drought conditions in this area, as we have had very little rain this spring following a winter where we got almost no snow. Hopefully this will help significantly with this, as a couple of weeks ago we were starting to see reports of brush fires.

Pretty sick how BP gets off of this whole thing, yea they paid their fines, but they probably won't be fined again...and this is a problem they created that will last centuries, not just a few years.....

You might be playing too much Grimrock when you rise to use the bathroom and navigate yourself there by way of sharp right angles.

Or take a step, then put feet together, then step, put feet together....

That BP thing just pisses me off. Basically all the food from the gulf is fucked because of the millions of gallons of Corexit poison they sprayed into it, and they're going to ignore basically 90% of the ailments of all these poor people because, well, shit, it's cheaper to buy off a judge than to pay for the damage you caused, right?

And our government sits there, greases their palms, and giggles...

Of course none of us need walk any further than a mirror to see the real culprits.

Good article on the Gulf BP Spill, not that it will do any good, we are addicted to fossil fuels and these ruthless fuckers will stop at nothing to keep status quo.
