Out of the Blue

I'm shooting to get updates online a bit earlier, so I thought I'd mention it on a day when I succeeded to some degree. Now I need to figure out what to do with all the worms this early bird business has produced.

Links: Crazy Expensive Stuff From The New York High-End Audio Show. Thanks Dark Roasted Blend.
Sci-Fi Short Story- 'Press Enter to Execute'. Thanks Neutronbeam.
Stories: George Washington named Britain's greatest ever foe. Thanks Neatorama.
‘Idol’ Losing The Young Viewer Battle To ‘The Voice’. Steve Tyler should get his grandkids to watch.
Sleepy Air Canada pilot thought Venus was a plane. Thanks Boing Boing.
Science: Why you suck at estimating – a lesson in psychology.
Images: This PC is not a lie.
Clouds Hate You WIN.
Don’t feed the trolls.
Media: Check out this rock medley honoring video games.
Dallas Tornado RAW video Throwing Semi Trucks. Thanks The Flying Penguin.
The GOD of Scramble With Friends.
The Funnies: Just THINK Of What I Can Do To Your Internet Street Cred.
Follow-up: Happy Birthday David (NEW Prometheus Viral!). Thanks Cutter.

That David android Prometheus video is awesome yet creepy as hell. Looking forward to that movie though I hear it's going to be PG-13 which is really disappointing so I might just skip the theatrical and wait for the Unrated/DC copy.

WHAAAAA? PG13? Fuck...ever since The Gladiator I suspected that Ridley Scott was a fucking sellout, but to sellout his own beloved creation....motherfucker.

Need cell phone help.
My touch screen quit responding on my ATT Samsung HTC Tilt2.

What are you guys using or like?
Was thinking an Android device since I am so happy with the Kindle Fire.

Thanks.

I use a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II... pretty nice device, but you may want to look for the AT&T or the international variants if you're opposed to large screen sizes (both the T-Mobile and Sprint versions have a 4.53" display).

I have a Droid Bionic, I like everything about it but the pentile screen took some getting used to and I'd prefer it had a physical keyboard. I'd rather have a Droid 4 with that extremely nice keyboard (tried it out at the store) but I'm finding it hard to justify the purchase. Both are screamingly fast in both processing and internet.

Pretty sure both are Verizon only though... So yeah useless reply

I love it! Particularly the line when he says he can do things that humans may find "distressing or unethical". Ridley Scott + Michael Fassbender = win! This film is going to blow your effing mind!

That site with Wasteland is pretty sketchy. At least some (and I would guess most) of the links are up with the abandonware defense.

Also, I didn't play through it, but Wasteland is missing a lot of its story without the game manual (that is, the game tells you to read journal entry X from the manual instead of putting the text in the game).
