I dont mind silly gimmicks like my name in the credits or other stupid stuff boosting my ego BESIDE the game. But no fiddling with game content. |

Although well-intentioned, it seems that almost all the backers are in complete agreement here that there should be no "exclusive" DLC. That sort of mainstream publishing garbage is exactly what we're all looking to avoid with crowdfunded projects. There may be numerorus reasons why someone couldn't or wouldn't go in on the Kickstarter but will buy the game when its released, and their money is just as good as anyone elses. So please, no exclusive DLC. |

Now if they said they were making DLC after release that cost money and *everyone* had to pay for it whether they pledged money or not I'd be pissed.
....but they aren't, so what gives? Plus it is just one mission... in a game with a mission editor that will be flooded with thousands of user created missions. It's a pretty minor reward. There are various other in-game perks offered for backing at much higher dollar levels. It seems odd to me that people don't have a problem with exclusives for the wealthy, but something for all the backers is somehow unacceptable.

If they do an exclusive, I'd rather it be a timed kickstarter exclusive, like give it to kickstarter supporters free a couple months ahead of when its released as paid DLC for anyone who didn't do kickstarter.
I'm still annoyed at that prince of persia DLC that was specific to consoles that had to do with the end game. |

| Like Creston said, the crowd funding this is not interested in DLC and exclusive content. They want complete games. I am glad they are moaning. |

| Got the whole Shadowrun RPG collection right on my shelf, from 1st to 4th edition. When it comes to RPGs and boardgames I'm a bloody completionist, which is why the new WH40K RPGs are hurting my wallet a bit more than usual. |

Nice to see this one plugging along. It's the only Kickstarter I've felt like backing so far. Glad to see they are serious about rewarding the investors who take the risk involved, however minor, in paying money sight-unseen for a game that doesn't exist.
I don't really see much merit to the complaints about a backers-only mission. Most of them seem to be from people who miss the entire point of Kickstarter to begin with. Kickstarter backers don't earn a return on their investment. The entire concept is supported by perks for backers, and t-shirts and little collectibles are only going to go so far. |

| Oh how I have missed my Shadowrun fix. It's been way too long. There is a lot of outcry about the exclusive mission proposed from backers, so maybe they will change it. |

I just viewed it as another perk in the rewards list on the right side of the page.
REALLY looking forward to seeing how this one turns out!

Exclusive DLC really pisses people off, and this hits a little too close to that mark for people to be comfortable with it. I can kind of understand it, though this is an actual reward for people who are funding the game, so from that angle, it seems weird to complain about it. I doubt anyone is complaining that people who buy the game after it's done don't get a free t-shirt or a Doc Wagon card...
In any case, now that they've made a million, they're putting an entirely new city in the game, so woooot. I hope it's Bug City.
