I own Assault Squad and I really like it then I thought I'd get Vietnam when it went on sale and was I ever disappointed. I've played it for about 10 minutes then quit and deleted it. I might give MoW1 a try because AS feels a lot like a MP game and really meant to be played in coop. Just a lot of multitasking going on which I am not that good at. |

Red Tide was way before Assault Squad as far as tech and when it was released. |

They were so lazy they didnt even convert all the models to the higher quality, some soldier models such as partisans are still old mow. Further, no coop is available, its mind boggling as to what was 1C thinking not including coop with this game, adding coop to most of those missions is very easy(yes I have experience scripting gem engine).
Lack of coop and the fact this wasnt developed by DMS(makers of mow:assault squad) + it doesnt even take advantage of improvements mowas takes in multiplayer area means this is just a cash grab attempt by 1C.
Oh and even though they included mods tab within game they did not release editor with the game as far as russian retail is considered, not sure if they plan to release it later but another bad sign. Thanks for the heads up, I am sticking with assault squad then. |

| Yeah! A team or B team? I couldn't find out... looks like the kind of thing the B team would do, which will mean a crappier game than AS. |

| I will check out the demo if there is one, otherwise the last Men of War game (Vietnam I believe) was a disappointment. Assault Squad is still my favorite, but it is tough as nails to play it alone. |
