Dungeon Blitz Launch

Dungeon Blitz is out of beta, offering a free-to-play browser-based MMORPG. Here's quick word from the developers at Blue Mammoth Games (no relation). Here's their short outline of the game: "We want Dungeon Blitz to be fun for people who love MMOs, but donít have the free time they did in college. Itís free to play, and anyone can create an adventurer and be in the game in well under a minute. We think itís a cool and different take on the browser MMO, and weíre excited to announce its wide release."

That reminds me of SWTOR. PVP to get tokens. Use these tokens to buy bags that have other tokens in them (and sometimes some other random tokens), or exchange them for a 3rd type of token that is also used to buy gear. Use the 2nd and/or the 3rd type of token to buy gear (if you have the faction and/or level).

For the best tier, there is no way to get tokens, except extremely randomly dropped tokens from the "mystery bags".

Literally, the most idiotic pvp gear system I've ever seen in a game, where you are artificially limited by either:
1. A small 1000 token limit so you can't stock them up for later.
2. A level cap on what you can buy.
3. A cap on your "faction" to buy gear.
4. Randomly dropped pvp items in bags (where you can easily end up with dupes after weeks of trying to get something.

So you'll sit there for weeks without faction, but with tokens, or with faction without the right kind of tokens, etc.

Thanks, yes, the game is completely free-to-play, and the store is optional. Every gameplay advantage can be gotten by playing for free.
The store is for folks who are enjoying the game and want to progress a bit faster, or want to customize their character, or just want to support the developers of a game they like.
