Lol. Tribes fixing a 13-yearold bug in the physics that would prevent players from skiing across terrain; a bug that 90% of the playerbase depends on, and what is known for declaring Tribes as the world's faster shooter. That'd be like id Software fixing/removing strafe jumping. lol

That's not a half bad idea. People have already practically invented a new language shortening texts, so I'd imagine hard core texters would be able to learn Morse code. Any why even need two buttons, all you need is to tap the dots and dashes on the screen, ie. you would tap and hold for a dash.
