| Ah... maybe the art style or models shown in the screenshots slightly resemble it. I might have this game disc lying around if it came bundled with a video card, or maybe I'm thinking of another game (Omikron?). If it's not too bad I'll check it out for nostalgia sake. |

| Square had nothing to do with Anachronox. Eidos wasn't bought by Square until years later. Also, how does it look anything like Deus Ex? Anachronox used the Quake 2 engine and had blockier characters with lower-res textures. The art style was also distinctly different than DX's. |

Why does Anachronox look so similar to Deus Ex?
Also this: "developer / publisher - Ion Storm Inc. / Square Enix" If Square had anything do do with this game back then maybe that explains the JRPG elements? |
