| Wow that *is* nifty if true. Lets hope the FOV slider is not fixed, and that there is also a proper aspect ratio setting for all possible resolution combinations. Looks like a game to be on the lookout after all. |

I got a laugh out of the use of a 14 year old meme that I happened to reference just yesterday.
Also "No Port Forwarding required".... WHOA THEY FIGURED THAT OUT? They could be filthy rich if they patented their solution. |

I liked the idea of the first game, so polished up, and with PC centric features, I'm in. Oh I still buy PC games. I just don't buy them from corporate shills who have zero respect for PC gamers. |

I hate to say it, guys, but most of these (apart from the UI stuff) aren't "standard features". |

They made promises of the first game getting 'special PC attention' too. I'll believe it when I see it.
I'd be interested to know why they didn't fix the glaring PC specific problems with the first game. It's not like the game didn't sell and wasn't supported post release. But they sure did support the game with plenty of paid DLC.
I enjoyed playing through Borderlands a couple times, however it had a horrible ending to a dull story.
At/near release I'll keep an eye out for a sale, but no way am I going to pay full price for the 2nd game.

Like I said, I loved Borderlands faults and all and completely planned on getting Borderlands 2 to play with the same group as I did last time the day it comes out. I'm glad they decided to listen to the community. I just find it sad a lot of these features used to be standard. But you can twist it to make me sound as crotchety as you want if that makes you feel better. |

You guys need to unclench. This is good news. Happy news. Because there's a difference between saying they'll do it and the finished product where we see if they did what they promised to do.
A difference you seem to ignore. |

Really happy to see LAN support; how about a dedicated server?
I had a lot of fun with Borderlands but it really needs a dedicated server to play online (not all of my gaming buds are in the same locale or even country). |

Well, at least you can't accuse them of not listening to the complaints of the people who played the first on PC. I am totally excited about Borderlands 2, and, barring catastrophe, expect it to be a week one purchase.
Honestly, if a game clicks for me, all of the minor niggles like no FOV adjustment, no push to talk, and no anti-aliasing are just so much noise. I'd have bought Borderlands 2 even if it had none of the listed fixes, but so much the better that it will. |

Bought a house... Moving in to it in a few weeks... First plan for all that extra room? LAN party... Quite likely Borderlands, but the four player limit, for an actual LAN party sucks..
Really not sure what else to get going, that a lot of us would like... For FPS otherwise, it looks like we may have to go back a decade (and teach them all about the joys of Excessive UT : ).
Any suggestions for 5-8 players?
Will likely do it about monthly, so Diablo 3 will be in there in May, and Borderlands 2 late in the year : ) But again, both will have 4 player limits... That is a 'PC feature' I would like to see 'added' (more than four that is).
