I have one 19" 5:4 LCD monitor (1280x1024 resolution) with a very old KVM (VGA+PS/2) with two computers. Also, I use my 20" CRT TV from 1996 for watching videos. I use virtual desktop managers. Beat that. |

Holy crap how much porn do you guys need to watch at one time? As many as we want!
What's really cool is spanning a video across all four screens, which gives you this huge area, but you have to sit back a bit to enjoy it. At that point, it's almost better to turn on the the 32" and stream the video on that. |

Your image reminds me of one the things which really annoys me, that you can't set different backgrounds for different I'm actually running a screensaver across all 5 screens. I use DesktopFusion, the free version lets you set different desktops on each screen. The paid version lets you run the same screen saver on each screen or different screensavers on each screen.
I have that 32", but there is a reason it's 5' away from me. It's fucking hot. Don't get me wrong, the four screens put out a decent amount of heat, but not as much as the 32". |

I like the article describing the mods to the ikea "jerker" model desk.
BTW, I feel inadequate reading the monitors used by blues readers. Mine is only a single 37" |

I have a nice simple setup, a 27" primary monitor and a 19" secondary monitor in portrait. This makes it essentially the same height as the 27" screen and perfect for A4 sized documents/pages/PDFs. I could easily and cheaply add another 19" portrait monitor to the main monitor's other size if I had the need (assuming my unused onboard graphics card even works!).

We have some scada machines at work with 12 screens attached. It sucks under XP and two different video cards, as sometimes when you reboot it likes to rearrange everything with no explanation.
And the cables...dear god...

I run two 24" Dells at home currently. Been wondering recently how I might get more screen space. Was thinking of trying two 30" Dells. Anyone tried that? Would I have to have two video cards due to the Dual DVI requirements? It would be expensive obviously, but what good is money if you don't spend it?

Six screens, one desk. Big deal. I have 5 (possible 6) hooked up to one PC.
2 x Dell 2007 WFP 2 x HP L2045w 1 x BBY LCD (32" Dynex Flat Screen)
I have two graphics cards:
ATI Radeon HD4200 (On-board, supports 1 VGA and 1 DVI/HDMI) ATI Radeon HD4600 (PCI-x, supports 4 x DVI)
