There are rumors its just an iOS re-release of Baldur's Gate.
And I dont think its a PC re-release since even the original Version still run very nice on modern PCs and there are enough mods to run it even at the highest resolutions.
And I also dont hope its a whole new game, simply because right now that would ruin the Baldur's Gate world, since it would just be another simplified console game. |

Clearly this is a metaphorical reference to the death of Baldr (his "gate," i.e. passing through to the afterlife), signifying the beginning of Ragnarok.
Sorry folks, nothing to see here but the beginning of the end.
Or maybe they were totally off and it was supposed to be Baldrs Gait? In that case it's not the end of the world, just a nice strole through the mountains. |

Or it's a CRPG about a bunch dudes named Baldur who own a gate. Meh, I'm thinking this is just an update at this point. As others have mentioned, seeing as I still remember BG backwards and forwards I have no desire to play it again even with updated graphics. A whole new BG? Colour me in.

I'm betting this is a fake. At the 1:00 mark it shows the title of it being Baldurs Gate, and not Baldur's Gate.
These companies tend to make sure of these spelling/grammar issues for legal and professional reasons and this mistakes makes me call fake. |
