having "special graphics hardware support and enhancements" is not the same as actually developing this firstly as a PC title rather than a console port. Dude this is so tired. I'm an avid PC gamer like many here, but you'd think people would just accept shit for what it is at this point. Consoles are where the money is. All we can do is hope that the PC rendition will be good. That's just the way it is and has been for awhile now (ie Max Payne was released 11 years ago). |

So if I find it sad that many games are similar, it's pompous and wrong? Think rather, it's you who are narrow-minded. The problem today is that in order to recoup their production costs, they drive the mainstream to be safe than sorry. I loved the first Max Payne, the game stood out then. Now it's just the title of the games they have in common. Yes, that's a generalization but I hope you take my point there? Can tell you I have played the game ever since the early 80's and can tell you that there are not many titles today that attracts me just because they are so damn unimaginative. Imo it's actually possible to make violent games in different ways... Some good examples are STLAKER and Fallout, if you like old school fps so are RtCW, ET and Quake good other examples. |

Is it still Remedy Entertainment that develops Max Payne? I don't really recognize the style from the first game in Max Payne 3, all I get is a feeling of GTA when I see the pictures.
First Max Payne had a story with a great sense of darkness in itself, now I just see brutal violence, which I assume is to please the mainstream...? |

Game looks fantastic.
Here's hoping there's more of a drive behind Max's fury than his boss' dumb skank being kidnapped. |
