A new trailer from Borderlands 2 offers more of a look a the stylized cel-shaded graphics and well-armed gameplay from Gearbox Software's upcoming role-playing shooter sequel. The clip is called a launch trailer, which is actually premature, something we can now say with certainly, since it reveals the release dates for the game, saying it's due for Windows, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 in North America on September 18th, and internationally on September 21st.
The skill thing looks exactly the same as the last game, they just condensed the trees a bit and as far as I can tell in the video just looks like one "active" skill again. Should have been 4 entirely new classes if that was going to be the case or at least have more than one skill, it limits gameplay so much. It was nice to see a few new models but there were still a ton of repeats which is kind of ehhh. Whole thing looks really samey and underwhelming to me, I think I'll pass til after the PC release gets fixed up/cheap.
