I use Fedora 16 KDE and much, much prefer KDE over GNOME.
LXDE sounded interesting, until I saw it looks like Windows 95. |

Xubuntu can't come close to Lubuntu nor Linux Mint LXDE, as far as resource usage savings. |

KDE has existed long before Ubuntu did. It is not going aynwhere anytime soon.
I use e17 but if I had to chose between KDE and Gnome I'd definitely stick to Gnome; I just don't think Gnome is very user-friendly - on the contrary: it is rather clunky, though it is faster than KDE. |

People who think KDE is on death watch because Kubuntu aren't funding, just really don't know the landscape.
Kubuntu has less users than Slackware, Arch, and Suse, and all of those have solid support for KDE.
Ubuntu isn't the only distro out there. |

I like GNONE, but I have always greatly preferred KDE. I guess because it's more familiar to me since it has a lot of similarities to the way windows looks.
Yay Kubuntu! |
