Meh, no mention of DCS: A-10C so list doesn't count.

That game was just beautiful.

Really? Fifa 2012, LA Noire and Modern Warfare 3 for Best Game? They have some odd standards, apparently.

Fixed it for ya...

No you didn't, CoD:MW3 isn't up for Best Game.

Its a good time to be a gamer.

2011 was a great year, and 2012 doesn't look shabby, either.

So do people vote on this or do they just submit what their marketing budget was?

I'd have swapped DX:HR and Skyrim into each other's categories.

Despite its abysmal launch issues on the PC, I'm somewhat surprised that RAGE isn't on the artistic achievement list. When it's on a rig that can actually max out settings (3Gb VRAM hanging off each GPU), it looks better than anything else out there.

True, it's on less than 1% of the installed PC base, but it is out there...

Besides a few I swear these awards are like a broken record. Every year we see the new Modern Warfare, the new Assassin's Creed, the new Uncharted.. on this list.

No DX in Artistic Achievement? But Michael McCann makes it as a nominee for music. Naturally Jeremy Soule does as well (Skyrim, where's my cd set directsound???).
