"offline MMO" pretty much sums up Reckoning with the notable difference being combat isn't a hotbar fest. Gears of War it is not, but it's a step up from your average aRPG in terms of combat.
Presentation wise it's completely generic, which is something awful when Todd Fucking McFarlane was supposed to on board as an artist. The score is passable fantasy fare but not much stands out.
Game compares strongly to Two Worlds; lot of humdrum content kept afloat by copious amounts of combat, loot, and leveling up. For fans of the hack'n'slash it's good for $30-$40.
Darkness II, on the other hand, I am quite taken too. It's a solid (but short) shooter, presentation is rock solid (Hollywood score across the board, great voice acting), and is a welcome reprieve from all the pseudo-realistic military bull shit out there. I really loved the art direction in particular... it's basically as good as cel shading can get. |

It's held it for nearly 4 months that's not bad. Today is Feb. 12. Three months and one day equals "nearly four months?" |

| KOAR feels really, really generic. The quests, the characters, the dialogue, the lore, the setting... it's like an offline MMO. Also, guards are psychic and don't need to actually see you commit a crime to know you did. If you fail a lockpicking or stealing check, every guard will know it and come to arrest you. |

Creston Wait for it to be cheap because it's not going to give you a lot of mileage. Your opinion.
Myself and a buddy have been playing through it. We're both in agreement that the game is fairly large. Not Skyrim large cause there are no infinitely random guild quests. But still a massive game, and the storyline is great. Obviously, thanks to Salvatore. |

Creston Wait for it to be cheap because it's not going to give you a lot of mileage. I don't know about that. I've been playing it all week and I'm still enjoying it. I'm also not that far into the main story, because - like Skyrim - there are enough side quests and areas to distract me.
If you'e expecting open world like Skyrim, though, you will be disappointed. It's much closer to Fable 3. |

Sounds like steam shit itself today due to power loss. Waiting for them to sort shit out, as the skyrim launcher crashes now, after previously telling me certain mods are no longer present on the workshop.
