| It's about control, they are slowly tightening the noose on our ability to create and share content whether it's copyrighted or not. Something like Youtube scares the living shit out of the MPAA/etc simply because they can't control it and it competes for mindshare with their own offerings. So under the guise of protecting their IP they will eventually tighten legislation to the point where they can start effectively becoming the moderator of content creation. You have to admire the ambition if nothing else. |
