A trademark registration noticed by Siliconera hints at the future of the Hitman series of stealthy assassination games, as Square Enix Europe has trademarked Hitman: Profession. The long-rumored Hitman: Absolution was formally announced earlier this year, but the recently formed Square Enix Montreal is also said to be at "work on a new premium quality game in the award-winning HITMAN® franchise."
