Unless they're doing some advertising I don't know about, what benefit do you perceive them to get from tracking every move you make in their game?
Hint: it's to refine the game to make it more fun! So yes, you get the benefit. Although you likely would if it just resulted in advertising dollars, too, as it would inflate their budget, give them more cash to make more features, and extend the length of support a product gets, all of which are benefits to the consumer as well.
But I know nothing about Titan and can't stand MMORPGs so whatever. |

That's fucked up logic Blue. Glad you love having all these morons posting day in and day out. It's just about time to give up on this failing site that I used to love. And don't think I'm the only one, I've heard it from several of the regulars lately. All I try to do is quell flame wars in advance by removing posts with personal attacks. Someone expressing an opinion with which you disagree does not give you license to attack them or post his personal information to the forums.
Wow, not only did you delete my post, but I see Deqer removed all his personal info from his profile like a good peon. Or did you do it for him Blue, instead of letting him go on looking like the dumbass hyprocrite he is? See what you did there? You disagree with his civil post about a game-related issue, but along the way this made him one of "these morons posting day in and day out" and a "dumbass hyprocrite." Rather than delete your post, I'm clarifying: He didn't say anything to you, but you directly addressed him, and in doing it in a nasty way, ran afoul of the "rules."
Sorry you're unhappy with my decisions, buy I don't think I am the one using "fucked up logic" here. |

there is no current ETA at this time Classic example of a PR person trying to sound official while actually sounding like a moron. Anyone who takes a cursory glance through a business-writing book would just say, "There is no ETA." If you're a real stickler, you wouldn't use ETA either. |

Deger, while I'll agree that Blizzard is really a shadow of its former self... I wouldn't equate "time sink" with their current MMO (WoW). If anything, there are systems in place where I play the game less for more reward (Looking for Dungeon/Raid).
Now, I suppose if you're talking about the WoW of "olde" ... i.e. Classic or Burning Crusade ... then yes, there were a great many time sinks. |

Titan probably going to be another MMO, in which case Blizzard will most likely make up some lore that explains/justifies the reason why you should play through a ton of time sink routines to get through a game--while the true reason is for you to spend more time than you should have to, thus paying more $ over long periods of time, thus Blizzard profits. |
