Well it's officially winter here in the northern hemisphere, as the solstice hit sometime in the wee hours of last night. Things have been pretty mild around here following our freak autumn blizzard a couple of months back, but I'm not very optimistic that my snow shovel will be gathering much dust, though I'll be happily proven wrong.

It works mostly by rewriting some x87 FPU code and inlining a whole ton of useless getter functions along the critical paths because the developers at Bethesda, for some reason, compiled the game without using any of the optimization flags for release builds.
