Out of the Blue

Happy Hanukkah to all who are celebrating, as the festival of lights began at sundown last night. Can't keep track of the holidays without a calendar. Oh, wait, that's the way it's supposed to work isn't it?

Yeah, saw this comin for D2D a long while back which is why I haven't bought anything from them in ages - though I only have a dozen games with them anyway and nothing I'd miss if the games go away.

Whoops, posted on wrong thread.

Here ya go, didn't refresh laptop when I posted in yesterday's deal a little bit ago.

heh. Crap. Just got an email "D2D has joined Gamefly".

Email says download all your games, can't promise they will be available.

Holy crapple, that light show keeps getting more involved... and surely takes a great deal of dedication : )

Thanks, but I sort of made my own anyway as I pulsed corn kernels with the buttermilk in my food processor. I think next batch I make I'm just going to try adding more buttermilk till I get a more batter like consitency as opposed to dough.

Cutter, add a can of creamed corn to your recipe (or less, depending on your batch size). Should soften it up nicely, and the little bits of corn are a nice surprise!

Happy Hanukkah!

I made me a batch of Boston baked beans last night - came out really nice. Also made me batch of cornbread - for me and Mr. Jingles. While it tastes quite good, it's a little denser than I wanted and not quite the cake/bread texture I wanted. Anyone make cornbread regularly like that?
