The Bethesda Blog has word on the version 1.3 update for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that's now available on Steam. They also announce they will be rolling out a patch next week for the Windows PC edition of the RPG sequel to support Large Address Aware configurations. Here's word on what the new patch does:
- General stability improvements
- Optimize performance for Core 2 Duo CPUs (PC)
- Fixed Radiant Story incorrectly filling certain roles
- Fixed magic resistances not calculating properly
- Fixed issue with placing books on bookshelves inside player purchased homes
- Fixed dragon animation issues with saving and loading
- Fixed Y-look input to scale correctly with framerate

Yes, many crashes are due to the instability of games.. but countless others found on the internet are due to people tinkering with their PC: overclocking, downloading some random crap they don't know shit about...
I, like StingingVelvet, have never had crashes that weren't simply, if you will, the game's fault. Except for one little fuck-up where I did something wrong in the BIOS settings many years back. Call that bragging if you will, I'm kinda proud of it indeed.
Wow I actually thought you and SingingVelvet were one and the same person good to know I was wrong.... Thanks for clearing up that up, although it is kind of amusing that you refer to us (Bluesnews' regulars I assume) as a pit of, and I quote: narcissists & bloodhounds and yet both you and StingingVelvet are the ones in the tread going on about how YOU never had crashes, and how it cant be the game's fault but its STUPID sheep users and blah blah (insert narcissistic ego bullshit here)
