That's fine. But what you are overlooking is that other people with similar hardware configurations aren't having the same issues that you seem to be having. So what makes your system so special?
Actually, based on this thread, people with similar hardware are having the same issue, as are people with completely different hardware. That's why I think the game is poorly optimized, among the other reasons I've mentioned. Saints Row 2 and GTA4 were also poorly optimized, but I'm sure there were people who were able to run those fine (relatively speaking). That doesn't change the fact that they were poorly optimized. A well-optimized game is one that runs well on all machines that meet the recommended requirements (which my system does). It also runs well compared to games with similar demands. It also takes full advantage of a system's capabilities, such as using more than 2 gigs of RAM and making proper use of threading to split the CPU load on multicore processors.
