The Bethesda Blog has word on the version 1.3 update for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that's now available on Steam. They also announce they will be rolling out a patch next week for the Windows PC edition of the RPG sequel to support Large Address Aware configurations. Here's word on what the new patch does:
- General stability improvements
- Optimize performance for Core 2 Duo CPUs (PC)
- Fixed Radiant Story incorrectly filling certain roles
- Fixed magic resistances not calculating properly
- Fixed issue with placing books on bookshelves inside player purchased homes
- Fixed dragon animation issues with saving and loading
- Fixed Y-look input to scale correctly with framerate

Acting like user error can never be the cause for PC gaming issues is silly. It's very pro-consumer and all that, but not really rational.
Thankfully those people don't exist  No one claimed that users can't be the reason by the way, that's just a strawman. It's simply just as likely to be a legitimate issue vs a user caused error, particularly when we aren't sitting at the computer first hand to deal with it.
That being said we are in a posting in a patchnotes thread, the third iteration for this game alone so perhaps the issues (some) people are having are related to the things fixed in them, shocking I know. Proclaiming ourselves to be the best computer janitors in the world and blaming the users over and over in every thread doesn't really solve anything. Likewise haranguing the industry for every little technical problem that isn't necessarily their fault isn't productive either.
