Yep. And then pirates like yourself with your "try before you buy... or maybe never" attitudes and your sense of entitlement to deserve free games ruined it for us all. Well done. Thank you very much... *golfclap* Yes, I'm sure Ubisoft stopped making tactical shooters because of piracy... |

Ubisoft will be cancelling PC version of this game as well. Most of the people working there are bean counters and not gamers. When the Wii accounts for more then half your sales your already in trouble.
Rainbow Six and GR are dead. If they ever made a PC version it would be a crappy port for sure. They hate PC gamers, They hate their fans, and they hate paying customers. Some things haven't changed in the last 10 years. |

the next installment in the series of tactical shooters featuring the Team Rainbow special operatives These haven't been tactical shooters for a long time now, they are basically straight up FPS games with a push butan mechanic to get your dudes to attack stuff. |

There's a really, really simple way of determining what type of game this new Rainbow 6 is going to be, I'll answer this question with one simple fact.
If the main character(s) run around the game without headgear, while their other teammates wear full headgear, you can bet we're getting another game like Vegas. The 'main' hero is so badass that he doesn't need a helmet or any of that stuff.
Bring back Ding Chavez and the actual tactical nature of Rainbow Six games, not this new-age console bullshit with fast-repelling down the side of a fucking bridge during a colossal rainstorm. Take it down a few notches Michael Bay.
This game will be a major fail. |

That last picture is totally a screenshot of the game fyi. you can see the aliasing on the bridge ropes and the polygon shapes.
Edit: the fifth "concept art" is a mix. the solider jumping in the center of the screen is definitely a model. everything else on the screen is definitely painted. |

| They certainly managed to stamp out whatever faint hope PC gamers had left for the franchise. Fuck their F2P bullshit. |

I'm thinking we'll be finding out soon that the PC version has been canned. Ghost Recon Future Soldier was originally announced for PC and then dropped, so it's possible this will turn out the same. I think they only dropped GR:FS to try and boost interest in the free to play game, though, no matter what else they say. |
