I had a 1967 beatle for a few years it used to like spreading the rain evenly across the windshield like butter so the world became a blended blur of pretty colours. Combined with the cab fogging up on reaching my destination I would unclench & kiss the ground.

I wonder if you could have pulled the arm up? Would have looked real silly though. Wipers can be hellacious to get attached, even the easy hook kind.

I had a car, year ago, that actually tossed off one of it's wiper blades (thankfully the one on the passenger side) mid-swing, in the middle of a storm. It's was an older car, and I quickly noticed that the remainder of the metal arm was scratching the windshield, so I had to get out (in the pouring rain) and wrap it in duct tape (only thing I had on me at the time) to keep it from scratching the glass further.
Good times!

OK, SR3 time - is anyone using a gamepad? After doing nothing but side missions, I did the first chopper mission last night, and, using a keyboard, was less than impressed. It almost felt like, while I had the W key pressed to move forward, it wasn't registering the CTRL key (I think it was) to dive at the same time.
Thought about trying a gamepad, but I'm not sure how well aiming might work then during gunplay.
The first few helicopter/vtol vehicles are a bit slow on the rise/lower controls, and will be better as you get more 'sporty' heli/vtol crafts. As for the camera view, I haven't, but I also think it depends on the vehicle. for example a sleek sports car has a lower camera (closer to the rear of the car) and a SUV or larger has it a bit higher.
I have found I can actually fly a helicopter/vtol just fine with the keyboard/mouse and haven't had any issues at all with missions that require them
Batman and I were having a blast and I posted a picture or 2 of a mission were we doing in yesterdays Into the Black.
Other issue: Anyone found a way to zoom out the camera while driving? It seems awful close to the bumper, and I keep trying to use the mouse wheel (which only changes weapons) to zoom back. Also, I keep moving the camera up, so I can see further down the road, and it keeps snapping back down after a few seconds, so I'm constantly battling it.
Mild annoyances. Still having a blast with it!

Hey hey! Deus Ex soundtrack just showed up! And while it's spelled correctly everywhere else, the white sticker along the top of the cd lists it as "DUES EX". Classy! |

If you bought SR3 through GMG, check your account page - my preorder DLC was now listed there.
Amazon purchase, they didn't have any delay. I got my keys on the 11th and was ready well in advance. I was even playing 1130pm THE NIGHT OF THE 14TH!
I will be up for a couple hours of coop if anyone is up for it tonight. |

While Elf and I were playing (I had 4 hours in already) I hooked up a xbox 360 gamepad to drive/fly for the same reasons. Way way better. I just keep the gamepad near the keyboard and grab it to do vehicles, then set it down so I can headshot everyone with the kb/m.
The camera snap bothers me on the cars as well. But I think there is an actual camera snap feature/button. I will check the menu when I get home. |

I know there are a million mods for Oblivion 4, grabbed it for $5.00 as I have no idea where my discs are. I created a thread in our other forums, can someone list some must haves to mod. Thanks.

I get a roadside coverage package through a work deal and even if I broke down next to a garage I'd probably make the arrangements through it since it's covered. |

I guess I'm lucky. The one time I've ever needed to call roadside assistance (through MasterCard), they told me it could take an hour for the truck to get there but it only took 15 minutes. |

I've had to call roadside assistance a few times in the past two years (one for a flat I just couldn't off, and once for a wreck), and it typically takes 45-60 minutes for the dudes to show up. That seems pretty normal to me.
You may get lucky if a guy is free and happens to be near you, but otherwise roadside assistance calls a local tower, and if they're 30 minutes away dealing with another call, yeah, you're gonna have to wait for a bit.
