@Dev I can't speak for changes over the last year, since I've only been playing a few weeks, but I know the adventure update (1.8) was a big one. It added strongholds (huge sprawling dungeons), abandoned mine shafts, new mobs, new foods, a food bar, new blocks.

Which is a GIANT fricken document detailing changes down to the minute. I don't really care about "Fixed Redstone circuits not working after /time set x glitch is now fixed in SMP."

What I want to know is significant features in the last year since they added portals. And I'm not feeling like spending a couple hours reading that giant 50 page document.

Plus a word search for "enchant" turns up ZERO hits in that changelog.

Then don't read the bug sections, they're very clearly marked differently from the sections they detail new features. There's been a lot of new changes, don't blame me if you're too lazy to do the tiny amount of work to read what they are.
