Downloading....also added the Genki Pack for preorder from Amazon.

Looking at the timer on Steam - it appears as though they might actually release it on the 14th/15th at midnight. There is a first for Steam.

With the number of weeks (40+?) of DLC they announced, I wonder how many "seasons" there will be.

Hoping gmg will email me my key soon...

Yeah, like Just Cause 2, they left out lots of cool or interesting sandbox items to buy later.

I want to buy this game but not if it isn't complete. And I refuse to get nickel and dimed.

Beamer, of the Assassin's Creed games the first one is 'the worst' and I HIGHLY suggest playing 2-Revelations.
I really wanted to like AC1, given the setting (which I find the most interesting of all the AC games). But I have to agree with you that it's definitely the worst of the bunch. When I played AC2 for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised at how much more enjoyable it was to play.

I'm sure the series still won't appeal to everyone, but the series improved substantially with the sequel.

I have all of them, but have only played the first one - and actually really enjoyed it. Glad to hear I will enjoy the others even more.

It's been a while since I've played, but it lost me in part by giving me a huge fight then taking my powers away. I know that's an insanely common device, but I felt like it took a ridiculous amount away. "By magic you now can't parry!" I still had some fun with the first city, then there was some ridiculous horse riding to an identical city that was an annoying distance away just to do more hit-X fighting. Not sure exactly what it was anymore, but something between the first and second city made me throw the game away in disgust.

If you play the first one you get the setup of the story for the entire series, know who Altair is, Lucy, Desmond, etc. Also in the last couple of trailers (CGI where Enzo gets a noose put on him) is where you do the first leap of faith in the first game.

If THQ had told me more about the Season Pass earlier on, I would have pre-ordered with them. But they didn't, so someone else is getting my money.

Same here. Oh well, hope the pass isn't more than 20.00 - then it will be a wash for me.

Just got an email from Amazon, says I can download or grab my key - but that isn't true.....

Just googling it, I see a 4/5, 5/5, 8.5/10, and a 7/10.
I'm not too worried.

Saints Row and Professor Genki won't let us down.

From the Wiki:
In a Saints Row: The Third livestream, V-Singular (Volition, Inc.'s community manager) revealed that there is a 1 in 100 chance that Professor Genki will spawn in the world. If the player kills him they will get "big prizes". Genki spawns with weapons and a large amount of health, so he will fight back.[2]

SWEEEEEET!

With this, Skyrim, and MW3....I just won't have time to do anything for the next 4 months.... (maybe throw in ACR) - and I still have to finish Batman AC, Rage, and Dead Island.

It's nuts, right? Arkham is out for me, meaning I had to scramble to finish the main story. MW3 right now, but just multiplayer as I haven't started the campaign (which will be brief, I know), and I have some friends coming to town in a few weeks that will want to do Spec Ops. Skyrim may wait until after Thanksgiving. SR3 until 2012.

Rage and Dead Island I'll pick up for $20 in 6 months. ACR can rot in hell for all I care, I played an hour of the original and that was enough for me.

Skimmed two reviews today, seems both agreed it's fun but too streamlined and therefore a step backwards from 2.

Considering 2 was one of my favorite games of this console generation I'm ok with that. Sad if it isn't topped, but if SR3 is even close I'll love it.

Really? I got it for 30. Amazon preload today, and going to check the prices of the pass....

Wait a minute....you can't get the season pass unless you pre-order from them? That doesn't seem right.....what am I missing here?
