Congrats to the Rangers and Cardinals at making the World Series, with the Rangers cementing their position as a powerhouse with a second straight appearance, and the Cards cementing their status as the closest thing in the National League has to the Yankees with their 19th series appearance breaking their tie for NL appearances with the Dodgers and the Giants, and their 10 titles being second to the Yanks (albeit by quite a distance). My favorite aspect of this is relief pitcher Arthur Rhodes, who began the series with the Rangers and is now a member of the Cardinals, so now he works on beating the Rangers, the team that's paying a majority of his salary for this season. Also, because of this the 41 year-old reliever is also likely to get a World Series ring regardless of which team wins.

Club is free. I signed up on the way over there, gave them my member number that I got online, and BAM. 10.00 off Lord of the Rings game coming out and 30.00 off next game purchase from Kmart. Not a bad deal, as I was eyeballin Dead Rising 2 Off the Record that was right next to it.....

Yep. Free day of delivery. So I'll be sitting on the porch tomorrow night, waiting on the UPS man. I'm firmly convinced him and FedEx know me as "that crazy amazon guy" which I guess is 1-2 steps up from the usual "crazy cat guy".

I hope they make a sequel, but I won't hold me breath.

I liked Green Lantern...it wasn't GREAT but I enjoyed it for what it was. Granted, I'm also a Green Lantern comic fan so maybe that made it more enjoyable... but I have to admit that the animated films were better.

If nothing else than to see where the final (after-credits) scene picks up.

This actually happened last year with Bengie Molina (getting a ring with the Giants even though he played for the Rangers in the series) since he was traded midseason.
