A high res texture pack for this game would probably go over most peoples bandwidth caps. There are plenty of ISPs with no caps and cheap prices, at least here in the UK - there was a period when caps started to make a comeback but competition killed them off. RAGE downloaded overnight without issue and I frequently exceed 200-300GB a month. A high resolution pack should definitely be provided, though they should just distribute it in the same way as the extras for The Witcher 2 - in the Tools section. It obviously shouldn't be mandatory.  I would say it would shut-up some of the complainers but you know they'd only moan about how large it is, or why they didn't do that in the first place. |
