Yesterday I shut FF down only to discover it remained memory resident consuming 900mb of RAM..
While I think Firefox is a memory hog, and their version naming has jumped the shark - most of the problems I've had with it are caused by various media player plugins like Flash. I'm not sure if this is Adobe's fault or FF. |

| For what it's worth, in my experience 7 does use less memory than the last couple of releases. |

| yeah right. they said the same thing with version 3 & 6. both of which use more and more memory with every patch. |
