| I liked Dead Space 2 but it felt more action driven than the first game. It's almost like an Alien vs Aliens vibe. Dead Space had a really intense atmospheric experience that was fairly well paced and a simple yet entertaining story. Dead Space 2 had far better gameplay overall but I felt like the story was borderline incoherent and exploring a base just doesn't have the same claustrophobic influence on the player that a ship like Ishimura did. Dead Space 2 had some great set piece moments but it didn't give me that same sense of dread I had just exploring random parts of the Ishimura. |

| Kind of wish they'd leave poor Isaac alone. I admit, I was skeptical the first time they brought him back and they did a great job. But seriously, give the guy a break. He's already going to be in therapy for the rest of his life. |
