Raid finder: designed for the casual players only. The purpose of this system is to let the casual players easily find a raid group and enjoy it with the dungeon-finder system. The difficulty will be easier than the normal raid, and the loots will be less powerful. The difficulty of using raid-finder will be easier like: bosses have less HP, complicated mechanics removed, damage to player lowered.
I always wondered how they would do a random raid finder. No matter how easy they make it though there will still be mass wipes and rage quitting lol.
This looks perfect for a few people I know who have quit. Though as you stated rage quitting would be an issue. Simplest solutions would be let everybody respawn inside the raid at checkpoints (short distance, easy to try again) and/or no locks to certain raid groups. **edit: the locks may not apply to the normal raids, but having any lock will cause issues. People need to get over the free loot bs, as this would be a better way to train others into getting ready for a raid/team work on a bigger scale environment. **
Wow is at such a point they need to learn from their Diablo settings with regards to their loot/difficulty. Hardcore... only get 10 deaths in their lifetime? *shrugs*
