I don't recall what it was, but it was a hand me down from a Fortune 500 company here in Minnesota, circa 1988-1989.

I bought my first own pc, it was a Hewlett Packard Pentium 100. Just recently threw away the keyboard that was the best keyboard ever invented. Can't say that about the pc that came with it though.....oh....And Mech Warrior was the shit yo!

20MB Fuji, with a big plastic wheel you could use to move the head manually. Never saw another Fuji hard drive after that.

That doesn't sound safe.

If that doesn't sound safe, you should have seen lawn darts. Ahhh the 80's...

My first was a 20 meg Seagate MFM hardrive in my old IBM XT.. That thing had a cool sound when it ran.

Same here, only mine had a sexy RLL controller, so it was 30 MB. And you could time drive access with an hourglass.
