Cities In Motion Expansion, Patch, and New Demo Released

Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order now offer Cities in Motion: German Cities, a brand new expansion for Cities in Motion, their mass transportation simulator. The new add-on is available for Windows and OS X from "all major digital download portals" for a recommended price of $6.99/6.99. This trailer shows off the new content the expansion adds, and the release is also accompanied by an updated Windows demo and a new OS X demo for Mac owners to check things out firsthand. Coinciding with the release is a new patch to bring the game to version 1.0.21, adding a free German city, several new vehicles, and user made maps. The patch notes have further details, though an account on their forums is required to view them. In celebration, it's Cities in Motion Day on Steam's Paradox Sale, where the game and its add-ons (except the new one) are all 75% off, though they warn that to avoid compatibility issues users should "get your patches and additions from the same outlet as your base game."

In case anybody else was wondering, the expansion includes Cologne and Leipzig. Scenic, but not quite the selection I expected to see when looking at the title. The mentioned patch adds Munich to the base game.
