Apparently everyone had voted for that hairstyle when they picked the blonde before. So then we everyone was complaining that they didn't want blonde, they held another vote to pick the color. It's all pretty stupid, as it's just determining what you'll see on the special edition box art, you can still customize her as you like in-game.
To be fair, the femshep will now DEFAULT to this particular iteration. so if you like it (her), you can play as her.
But yeah, you can still make changes however you see fit.

| I usually make my Shep a redhead cause I'm one IRL. I don't understand why they didn't stick with the default female Shepherd, she was pretty. |

| So... when are we actually going to see FemShep in any official marketing? I don't think they're going to switch between showing male Shepard and female Shepard in the ads or trailers so what's the point? |
