Call of Duty Job Openings

The Treyarch Jobs Page lists several job openings for positions including Lead Multiplayer Designer that seem pretty obviously for their next Call of Duty game, as one of the requirements listed is: "An expert understanding of the Call of Duty game universe." There was little reason to doubt that the developer will be making another installment in the military shooter sequel, and there are no hints about the direction the game will take. Thanks Shacknews.

His ideas are as short term as his time with Activision...

He's been CEO of Activision for over 20 years... But you probably meant remaining time right?

Yes, thank you for the clarification Sepharo.

I cant wait till Treyarch releases another product that isnt based on Infinity Wards engine. All this studio can do is reskin and make new campaigns.

If it was a WW2 COOP game then maybe I'd be interested, we'll have to wait and see... COD: WaW is collecting virtual dust on my steam library

Treyarch really need to concentrate on quality this time around, Black Ops was a mess on release and for a good while afterwards.

Not that I'll be going anywhere near one of their games again after my experience with Blops.

Is there a job opening for a sniper victim?

I'm good at that - it's my best skill

Call of Duty... in space!

Worked for Muppets, Jason, Homeboys and Leprauchan.
And I expect it for CoD. Just not yet.

It would likely be a better move than it was for any of the above.
And, from the looks of things, MW3 is CoD Takes Manhattan.

Well, hopefully a new engine and direction, as it has become a very tired title with the same ol' recycled garbage in a different box

You can expect a new direction if and when it stops selling. In the meantime, given its tendency to smash retail sales records, I wouldn't hope for too much.

MW3 is making one more step to what Bobby noDick wants, an MMO. So I am sure it is headed in that direction very soon. He made statements back in 2008 that eluded to this and a few off handed comments here and there. He wants his hand in the monthly fee bucket.

Is there a listing for a CEO? Any of us could do a better job.

Oh yeah, your're right. Hmmmmm, will be interesting seeing all that play out.

His ideas are as short term as his time with Activision.......
He probably knows it, doesn't care, and will cash out when his time comes and laugh all the way to the bank.
