Where you are wrong, in my opinion, is in saying this is a bad thing. There are real differences between streamlining and dumbing down and this falls into streamlining for me... I hated having to juggle F-keys in the original to use stuff like bullet resistance and rocket defense.

That said it should cost energy so that there is a penalty for using augs. I was under the impression that even though certain augs would be automatic they would still have an energy cost?
