2K Sports announces the full roster for of the players on the "NBA’s Greatest" team in NBA 2K12, the upcoming installment in their basketball simulation. Word is: "Each of these 15 basketball legends has been meticulously recreated with an uncanny level of detail, including period-specific depictions of their arenas, team uniforms, signature moves, and even historically accurate broadcast presentation styles in NBA 2K12. Gamers will now tap into the legacy of these legendary athletes by utilizing their signature moves, such as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s unstoppable skyhook, to rule the virtual hardwood." Here's the list.

The most glaring issue is the inclusion of Pippen in this list. I'd also say Stockton should probably not be there as well. As far as omissions, Pistol Pete is certainly a big one. But the biggest of all is Moses Malone missing. He was 3 times MVP, 1 time finals MVP, won the '83 championship. It's ridiculous not to have him. If you have Pippen and Stockton, you should have MacHale and Drexler among many many others. And where is Walton?

Best player of all time isn't on there, died way before his time and suffered from knee problems at the height of his NBA career.
Holds numerous scoring records BEFORE there was a 3 point line.

no kidding. if scottie pippen, a supporting player to jordan, can be in the list of greatest then barkley should be a no brainer. there are other players who deserve to be in that list than pippen. mchale, payton, wilkins and worthy to name a few.
