Call of Duty: Black Ops Patched

Steam News announces a new automatic patch is now available for Call of Duty: Black Ops, updating the military shooter sequel to version 1.13. The update includes bug fixes for the game, as well as enhancements to its mod tools. The change list follows.

Patch 1.13

Addressed a crash for players with more than 250 Friends
Fixed several map exploits
Various stability improvements
MODS: Server Browser now truncates modded game types that are longer than four characters in the MODE column
Server: addressed an issue in which some playlist settings could be ignored if sv_maprotation is too long

Mod tools

Improved AMD/ATI graphics card support in Effects Editor
Addressed an issue with saving an EFX in Effects Editor
Convert All now works correctly
Fixed wiki link in Asset Manager
Updated menus and scripts. Mods should be rebuilt with latest scripts merged in for compatibility with Patch 1.13

Did you really expect people to read, much less post in a thread about a patch for a game they don't play? Where have you been, the moon? They've been doing it for months. Hate cod this, hate cod that. But any news updates that might suggest the support has actually been pretty good, and low and behold, they've fucking vanished. Gotta take the good with the bad mate. I can't remember the last time a pc game I was playing got thirteen (13) patches.

Yea Black Ops has received very decent support on the PC. Bug fixes, re-balancing, closing out exploits and mod tools too.
