Every time some organization cries out for a ban on something that something ends up being more popular. This will end up driving more than a few sales of Darkness II because people will want to see what the fuss is all about. The fact that police are asking for the ban will undoubtedly increase this effect, especially among young men who already have a dim view of police.

Specifically, the organizations called out The Darkness II, saying it and games like it create a distorted perspective of police officers for young players

Sort of like they're not bad guys who engage in censorship because they don't like something? You mean like that?
